The Wuhan Acrobatic Troupe of China
Founded in 1953, the Wuhan Acrobatic Troupe of China
is one of the earliest established acrobatic troupes in China. The troupe has
traveled and performed all over China and made more than 70 visits to more than
80 countries in Asia, Africa, Latin America, Oceania and Europe. Wherever they
perform, they win widespread praise for their outstanding acrobatic skills.
The programme presented by the Wuhan Acrobatic
Troupe will be selected from the following:
Grand Martial Arts: With flipping, somersaulting, jumping,
diving, hand-standing and gymnastic movements, the acrobats form a rowing boat,
a decorated archway and a pyramid.
Balancing Bowls on Head: An acrobat stacks bowls on her head
and feet, and makes various handstands and rolls, performing stunts such as

acrobats jump through the hoops stacked from the ground. The last stunt is an
acrobat flying through the top hoop which is more than 2.6m high. This item won
