"Looking West to Chang'an"

Created by the notable playwright Lao She, Watching Chang An from the West depicts a story of a real swindler in 1950s. He cheated both organization and the concourse for identity, honor, air tickets, life subsidy and etc. He swindled for three years and was arrested at last.

The drama also unveils the picture of a whole period when people were awfully honest and trust whatever swindlers said, cadres were extremely well-disposed that give whatever swindlers said they need. During that period, it is difficult to be a swindler which is quite different from nowadays……

Directed by Lou Naiming, the famous comedy director and starred by Ge You the most characterized comedy actor, Watching Chang An from the West is undoubtedly the most remarkable drama of this season!
