The dance has been staged 129 times since its debut in August last year. Some, however, have doubted Yang's purpose. But Yang considers "Dynamic Yunnan" as an artistic product: "In my opinion, the real valuable art is also of high commercial value. It is a shame that society has to bear the burden of feeding the so-called 'pure art.' I think it is an excuse to say that real art won' t make good money."

After its China tour the programme will travel around the world. According to Yang "Dynamic Yunnan" is just a beginning, and hopefully it will have a second and third sequel.
