Hebei Acrobatic Troupe
The Hebei Acrobatic Troupe, founded in October 1976, is
a provincial professional acrobatic troupe, with more than 130 professional
acrobats.
Programs created by the troupe include "Head Skills On a Free-Standing
Ladder," "Sacred-Jar uggling," "Lion Dance," "Diabolo Girls," "Meteors," "Foot
Juggling," "Belts Gymnastics," "Rotating Hoop Diving," "The Grand Acrobatics
Evening Show 'Hometown,'" and so on.
The troupe has been invited to participate in many important contests and
festivals both home and abroad, winning many prizes.
Due to the remarkable economic benefits and social benefits it created, the
troupe was named "an advanced acrobatic troupe that has made outstanding
contributions to the development of acrobatic arts in recent years" by the
Ministry of Culture.
The troupe has visited more than 50 countries and regions for international
cultural exchanges and commercial performances. With its extraordinary
performances, the troupe won the "artistic pearl" honor and was entitled the
"troupe worthy of the title of an acrobatics troupe from 'the hometown of
acrobatics'".
In 2002, the troupe went to Israel for a nine-month commercial performance of
the self-produced evening show "Human and Nature," which received a warm welcome
from the locals.
