The Chinese Folk Literature and Art Association was established in March of 1950. It now has nearly 4,000 members. Its subordinated organs include the Chinese Story Society, Chinese Fairy Tales Society, Chinese Ballad Society, Chinese Proverb Society, Chinese Folk Art Society and the Chinese Paper-Cutting Society. It publishes the magazines Folk Literature (monthly), Opinions on Folk Literature (bimonthly) and Folk Customs (monthly). |
