Guangye Dovetree

Guangye Dovetree belongs to the Nyssaceae Family, with the Latin name of Davidia involucrata var. vilmoriniana. In the world, it's only distributed in Shaanxi Province in the north of China, Hubei and Hunan provinces in the middle of China, and Sichuan, Guizhou and Yunnan provinces in the west of China.

Guangye Dovetree is a kind of deciduous arbor, which usually grows in mountainous areas 1,500 to 2,400 meters above sea level. Although it has a similar morphological character to chinese dove tree, it's a variation of chinese dove tree. The difference is that the leaf of Guangye Dovetree doesn't bear fluffs on its back surface, or sparsely bears short fluffs on leaf veins only when it is young, and sometimes there's hoarfrost on its back.
