People's Literature

People's Literature (Renmin Wenxue), sponsored by the Chinese Writers' Association, is widely regarded as an authoritative monthly devoted to works by contemporary Chinese writers.

The magazine publishes novels, stories, essays, poems and reportage. It is renowned for its nouvelles, which usually reflect the reality and have profound meanings.

It has 12 columns, among which are Special Recommendations (Tebie Tuijian), Short Stories (Duanpian Xiaoshuo), Nouvelles (Zhongpian Xiaoshuo), Poems & Criticism (Shi Yu Shilun) and Selected Essays (Sanwen Xuancui).

People's Literature has nurtured many famous writers in China and thus is esteemed as a cradle for Chinese writers.

 Global View

Global View (Shijie Bolan), a monthly magazine published by the World Press, provides readers with all-around information about foreign affairs. Its live yet practical style has attracted a wide range of readership and it has become one of the most influential magazines in China. Its characteristic style has also won it many prizes and honors.

Global View launched a Web edition in 1999. The Web edition provides not only what's in each issue of the monthly but also more channels for readers who are keen on information about development of foreign countries.

 Chinese Teaching in the World

Chinese Teaching in the World (Shijie Hanyu Jiaoxue), the official journal of the World Chinese Teaching Institute, is one of China's key journals in Chinese linguistics and Chinese language teaching.

The journal presents to readers latest research achievements related to Chinese teaching. It also provides a communication platform for Chinese language researchers and teachers. 

It publishes papers in both Chinese and English.  Chinese Cultural Research

Founded in 1993, Chinese Cultural Research is a large-scale academic quarterly introducing China's traditional culture. Under the supervision of the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, the journal is published by the Beijing Language and Culture University and circulated worldwide.

China's famous scholars Ren Jiyu, Ji Xianlin, Zhang Dainian, Xiao Qian and Yang Qinghua serve on its counselor board and Professor Yuan Chunde is its editor-in-chief.

The journal set as its major task the introduction and promulgation of China's traditional culture. It has 40 columns, including Chinese Culture Forum (Zhongguo Wenhua Luntan), China Literature Study (Zhongguo Wenxue Yanjiu), Esthetics Research (Meixue Yanjiu), Sinology Study (Hanxue Yanjiu) and Chinese Painting Study (Huihua Yanjiu).
