Guizhou Television

Guizhou Television (GZTV) began broadcasting on July 1, 1968. It has three channels, broadcasting 51 hours of programs daily. Its signals cover China and 35 other countries and regions adjacent to China, with the number of regular viewers reaching 410 million.

GZTV-1, or Guizhou Satellite Television, focuses on news reports. It broadcasts 20 hours of programs every day. Major programs include Guizhou News Broadcast, News Angle, Focus Today, People & Society, Sports News, Guizhou Report and Guizhou Today.

GZTV-2, broadcasting 14 hours of programs every day, concentrates on economy. Among its key programs there are Finance Express, Financial Report, Business Information, Life Weekly, Sports 10', Music All and Happy Together.

GZTV-3, which became operational on October 20, 1998, provides movies, plays and entertainment programs. Its major programs include Film Fans, TV Theater and Arts Sky.
