Fujian Television

Fujian Television (FJTV), the biggest television station in East China's Fujian Province, began broadcasting on October 1, 1960. Its signals cover more than 90 percent of Fujian Province, accessible to 30 million viewers. FJTV has two channels, FJTV-1 and FJTV-2, broadcasting 140 hours of programs in total each week. It also rebroadcasts programs of four other TV stations. 

FJTV-1, a comprehensive channel, features such programs as Fujian News Broadcast (Fujian Xinwen Lianbo) and News Collection (Xinwen Zongheng). FJTV-2 is renowned for its program Reporters' Move (Jizhe Xingdong).

FJTV has four studios, of which two cover more than 400 square meters each. It mainly employs analog component equipment and is now gradually adopting digital component devices in its program developing. Its signals are transmitted to six key relay stations through microwave networks.
