Established in September 1991, the Popular
Culture & Arts Publishing House is an integrated publishing agency at the
state level. It is sponsored and administrated by the China Federation of
Literary and Art Circles.
With the masses as its principal readers,
the Popular Culture & Arts Publishing House publishes books on ideological
and cultural education, literature and arts, excellent traditional ethic
culture, excellent foreign culture, literature and arts, and excellent books for
teenagers and children, as well as other excellent readings that the masses love
to see and hear. Among its publications, books on literature and art account for
57%, and those on culture, education and integrated readings account for 43%.
Ever since 1998, the Popular Culture & Arts Publishing House has published a
batch of high-quality books for excellent ethical
culture.
