China Information World (Zhongguo Jisuanji Bao), run by the Ministry of Information Industry, was launched by China Center for Information Industry Development (CCID) in 1985. The newspaper has two issues each week. It also published two periodicals: the weekly InfoCD and the monthly China Information World- Shopping Guide , and two specials: East China Special and South China Special. 

With supports from the CCID, China Computer Industry Association, China Computer Users Association, China Software Industry Association, China Software Testing Center and CCID Market Information Center, China Information World has a nationwide circulation network and enjoys certain influence in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macao.

The newspaper has pages for Top News, Market, Hardware, Software and Computer Studio. It is published in each Monday and mainly circulated in North China, East China and South China.
