Qiaojia Five-leaved Pine belongs to the Pinaceae Family, with the Latin name of Pinus squamata. It grows in regions 2,200 meters above sea level. It's mainly distributed in Qiaojia County of Yunnan Province in the southwest of China. It was first discovered by Chinese botanists in 1991.
