The evergreen arbor can attain the height up to 17 meters, with a chest diameter of 80 centimeters. It has verticillate branches. The linear leaves are arranged in spiral rows. Each leaf has a nick on top, with a bright green facade. There are two white stomatic bands on the back of the leaf. Saplings can bear a serious lack of sunshine.
