1. Morphological Character      

Camellia is an evergreen arbor or shrub that can reach a height of 15 meters. The trunk is brownish gray. The leaf is alternate, leathery and lustrous, from ovoid to ellipse, with indention at the edges.

Nowadays, there are more than five thousand species of Camellia in the world and more than three hundred in China.
