2001年12月31日，《黑白意象——毕加索版画展》在北京中华世纪坛艺术馆开幕。这次展览共展出了20世纪现代艺术大师毕加索1942年至1968年的161幅版画原作。这是北京展览路小学的少儿绘画爱好者阎妍（右一）、张思涵（右二）正和同学们在现场临摹毕加索的版画作品。

Yan Yan (first right), Zhang Sihan (second right) and other pupils from Beijing Zhanlanlu Primary School copy Picasso's woodcuts in the Art Gallery of the China Millennium Monument in Beijing, where the Black and White Image -- Picasso's Woodcuts Show was opened on December 13, 2001. The show displayed 161 pieces of woodcuts created from the period between 1942 and 1968 by Pablo Picasso, a world-renowned artist of the 20th century.

Six nouns vow to devote themselves to Christ and serve Church with their whole life in the North Church, the largest Catholic Chuich also known as Pehtang Catholic Cathedral in Beijing on July 28, 2002. They were the first group of nouns taking the perpetual vow who have been culticated by Beijing diocese since 1949 when the new China was founded.
