By using a technique of a multiple-level contrast, the present condition of contemporary art in Taiwan has been described inclusively. Similar to the “De-centralized” concept of Postmodernism, the idea of the exhibition is to make every participating artist a key topic.
Every participating work has represented a new phase of Taiwan’s new generation art. With the creating materials, expressing techniques, and concerned issues, the thirty-two artist groups have clearly shown the lively and diverse creating environment and the tendency to express their art through various fields.
Upon the time that the exhibition Super Generation@Taiwan was held at Today Art Museum, the team members of the exhibition program will share us the status of contemporary art in Taiwan, as well as the thinking of a new generation of artists regarding the future of the art, with which they hope to open a new window for the cross-strait cultural exchange.
The exhibition will last until Feb. 12.
