During this Exhibition, the paintings and calligraphy by some famous Chinese painters such as Qi Baishi, Zhang Daqian, Li Keran and Wu Zuoren etc. are being shown. These exhibits mainly depict landscape, flowers and birds, plum blossom orchids, bamboo and chrysanthemum. Some study objects as brushes, ink, paper, ink-stone, seal and pen-cleaning tools are also being shown in the exhibition.
The Wilfrid Israel Museum of Oriental Arts and Study is a specialized museum which mainly shows the cultural and art exhibits from the countries of eastern Asia. The museum has had a friendly relationship with the Embassy of the P. R. of China in the State of Israel for many years and has successfully held some exhibitions and activities for promoting Chinese culture. H.E. Mr. Zhao Jun expressed his sincere thanks to the museum for the good cooperation between the Chinese Embassy and the museum.
During the opening ceremony, two Israeli Chinese ladies showed Chinese martial arts of Taiji Boxing, Taiji Sword and solo songs of My Motherland and Me as well as an Israeli song of Haleluya. They won warm applauses from the 200 participants to the opening ceremony of the exhibition.
After the opening ceremony, H.E. Mr. Zhao Jun and H.E. Mr. Erez visited the exhibits together with other participants. Many visitors took pictures before the exhibits. The exhibition will be shown until the end of March of this year.
