The two-member Jiuyue Qiji (September Miracle), last year's champions of CCTV 3's popular talent show Star Boulevard, wowed the audience at the Vienna Musikverein (the Golden Concert Hall) recently when they wrapped up the "Culture China" event presented by China's Ministry of Culture.
For the third year, the Ministry of Culture has been arranging for young artists and child prodigies to perform at the famous venue. Singer Wang Xiaohai and pianist Wang Xiaowei impressed the local audience with their presentation of Chinese folk songs, especially Wang Xiaowei, with her stunning skills on the keyboard.
The two met in 2007 and formed Jiuyue Qiji soon after. CCTV's talent show made them overnight stars and early this year, they joined the Beijing Song and Dance Company.
