The Pick of the Hungarian Bunch Arrives in Beijing

The top dance theatre company in Hungary, ExperiDance Company, will take their most successful performance “Essence” to the PKU Centennial Memorial Hall on April 11. Essence represents the best of ExperiDance programs, including One Thousand and One Years, Musketeers, Revenge and Steel.

One Thousand and One Years

- A performance that treats Hungarian history from the conquest of our land to present day.

Musketeers - This show is the company's second all-evening long performance, based on the world-famous Dumas novel "The three guards" in two acts of fifty minutes.

Revenge – A modern adaptation of the Hungarian folk tale "Ludas Matyi."

Matyi - In Hungarian literature, this is the first in which the have-nots win out over the haves. This production combines many elements like scenes from the famous carnival of Venice, dances from Moulin Rouge, and the Argentinean sheepherder's unique style.

Steel - Steel takes its audience on a historical voyage through the legend of metal and its role in human development. Produced in cooperation with the Bolzano City Theatre, this show is also a coming together of European cultures
