1-1 Date

Tickets for the Beijing Games can be bought during three periods of time. The first session was ended before June 30, 2007, and the second session before Jan 1, 2008. If you want a ticket, please wait until April. The third session starts in April 2008 and extends through the closing of the Olympic Games.

Three ways of purchasing tickets are available in Session 3:

1. You may submit an application to:

the ticketing website http://www.tickets.beijing2008.cn/

the participating Bank of China Olympic Ticket Outlets

2. You may buy tickets directly at the particular venue box offices. In this way, tickets will be printed out in real time.

1-2 Residency and ID Requirement

Make sure you have a valid address within Chinese mainland.

For Hong Kong and Macao residents, a valid passport or a Mainland Travel Permit with valid endorsement is required.

For Taiwan residents, a Mainland Travel Permit with valid endorsement is required.

For foreign citizens, a Chinese visa valid for 6 months or more is required.

These requirements will be filled in on the applications for tickets.

1-3 Submitting Applications

To submit an application online, you need to create your account at the Games' official site , search for the events you want to watch and pay with either Visa Card or Bank of China savings account.

Or, you may manually fill out the Application Form and go to any Bank of China Olympic Ticket Outlet to submit your application.

You may also mail it to: Beijing 100007 mail box, 98 sub-box, Post code 100007.

If you purchase your tickets at the box offices, applications are not required.
